We serve
In the truest sense of
the word. On Family Day our Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Salvation
Army served a hearty, healthy meal to about 700 people. Andy likes to point
out that North-East Edmonton is the seventh poorest community in Canada.
Judging by the clientele at the lunch he may have his figures correct. This is
one of those "warm fuzzies" feel good projects that is dear to my
heart. Thanks to all our members that attended and helped make this possible.
